Select Services were awarded the mechanical services contract by Halikos Construction for new four-level Warren Park Rugby Stadium in Marrara, Darwin which opened in May 2019.
The four-stage project also included a separate administration building, club house and cool room setup.
The stadium’s air conditioning is served from the level two mezzanine mechanical plant and consists of a mixture of Variable Refrigerant Volume (VRV) Air Handling Units, split systems and VRV Outside Air Handling Units (OAHU). The air conditioning plant services the bar, change rooms, operational office and corporate boxes throughout the Stadium complex. The VRV system includes an integrated Daikin/WAGO Building Management System (BMS) that controls both the administration building and the stadium with mirrored touch screens in both locations for the user interface to the system.
