Local construction company, Jaytex Construction awarded Select Services the mechanical services contract for the Berrimah Farm Field Research Facility, the first stage of the Northern Territory (NT) Governments’ Berrimah Farm Science Precinct Redevelopment project.
Construction of the new field laboratory kicked off the multi-staged program of works that will form part of the most modern agricultural science precinct in Northern Australia. Replacing the existing Berrimah Agriculture Laboratory, the building will be the only facility in northern Australia, private or public, with the planned level of capability for plant and animal sciences.
The mechanical services for Berrimah Farm Field Research Facility include, three plantrooms, Chilled Water (CHW) AHU’s, Nederman Extraction System, Building Management System, Underground CHW piping, Stainless Steel Ductwork , and fibre optic network cabling for future stages
