October Business Month provides Territory business with a month-long program of educational, and motivating events designed to inspire and grow Territory business. Our very own Jason Walsh has been selected as speaker next month, in OBM Alice Springs, and Tennant Creek.
Jason will talk about his unique individual journey of growing a small business, becoming part of a National company (VAE Group) while remaining at the helm of his Territory enterprise, all achieved by the age of 35.
A qualified refrigeration mechanic, Jason moved to Darwin in 2008 working in the local mechanical services industry for three years before becoming a sole trader, establishing Select Services. By 2019, Select Services had become a $5.5 million per annum commercial air conditioning business. In July 2019 Jason decided to team up with Brisbane based company VAE Group, providing his Select Services team with the support and resources to continue to grow Select Services in the Territory and take on larger projects such as the recently completed Manunda Place.
